South Central Iowa Draft Horse and Mule Association
Our annual potluck dinner will be held at 1:00 on Sunday, January 17, at the Community Center in Woodburn. Please bring a dish to share and your own table service. If you would like to donate a small item to be given as a door prize, please bring it to the meeting. Names will be drawn from a hat to distribute the door prizes. Please return any draft horse videos you may have borrowed. Membership dues are $10 per family. If you can’t make it to the meeting, please send dues to:

Location: Jim Stuart farm, New Virginia, IA. Take the New Virginia exit west off of I-35 and it's the first place on the north side of the road.
Per Jim: I plan on setting up the events we have for the Iowa state fair farm classes so we can practice. We will have our experienced teamsters give advice on how to get your team through the various obstacles. Feel free to bring your teams. I might have some hay ready to cut or rake that day so we can add that to our activities also. (I promise I won't have any small bales on the ground to pick up!) I live just west of the New Virginia exit off of I-35 on the north side of the road.
