April 2: Tipton Lions Supreme Breakfast. 6:30AM - 11:00AM St. Mary's Hall, Topton, IA. This is a benefit for Bob and Alice Witlatch who lost their barn to a fire on January 19th, 2011.

April 29 - 30: Baumli Draft Horse and Mule Sale, Maryville, MO
May 3: Horse Owners Seminar Series: High Risk Pregnancy in the Mare.
7:30 - 8:30PM, Dr. Bruce Christensen.
Alumni Room, College of Veterinary Medicine, Iowa State University.
This presentation is open to the public.
June 4: South Central Iowa Draft Horse and Muke Breeders Association Harnessing Clinic (9:00 - 11:30AM) and Hitch Show (12:00PM),
New Virginia, IA.
This is clinic and show is for current, new and future member of the SCIDH&MA. Enter/register on arrival the day of the show.

June 8th: 1st Annual Hazleton School Driving Horse Sale
1500 120th St. Hazleton, IA (3 miles west of Hazleton on 120th St. - junction of W13 & C57).
Driving starts at 8:00AM, horses start selling at 11:00AM, all breeds accepted.
Consignments accepted up to sale date.

October 1: Plowing Contest. Living History Farms, Des Moines, Iowa. You must provide proof of personal liability insurance to LHF prior to plowing.
